
Dmitriy Vistoropskiy
Born in Kazakhstan, Dmitriy Vistoropskiy received his early training at the A. Seleznev School of Ballet and Choreography in Almaty. After graduating, He joined the corps of the National Opera and Ballet in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. He went on to dance as a soloist for the Russian National Ballet touring Russia, Asia, Europe, Australia, and The United States.
Dmitriy performed as a guest artist in principal roles throughout the United States. He has staged and choreographed dances from The Nutcracker, Giselle, La Sylphide, Paquita, Don Quixote, as well as created several original pieces for local dance schools and companies. He has also coached students in classical variations for several competitions including for Youth America Grand Prix.

Dmitriy is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. He holds a bachelor's degree in teaching and choreography from the State Pedagogical University in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Dmitriy has been teaching in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area for over 10 years including for the Upper, Professional Training, & Adult Divisions at the Washington School of Ballet.
